It Would Take Another 9/11 Event to Unite Our Country
After spending the day with my family today and remembering this infamous date in our American history, I’ve come to the conclusion that we haven’t been as united as a nation since that infamous date. 21 years ago today, we lost 2977 United States citizens to two planes crashing into and bringing down the Twin Towers. It was fucking scary, I remember it like it was yesterday.

Laws that lack definition can be undemocratic
Laws that lack definitions make money for lawyers Politicians and law makers must be precise. In Britain the law courts interpret the written laws passed by Parliament, they also create “laws of tort” which is where a decision made in one court enables a later court judgment, to use that decision as a precedent.

Can We Do Anything About Our Eroding Freedoms?
Freedom has been won and lost a million times over thousands of years. Small groups and large groups have attempted to define and implement freedom. Everyone you ask will assure you they can tell you what freedom is. Unfortunately, as with all things, every person has a different opinion, making a "one size fits all" definition of freedom nearly impossible. There is a plethora of components that people agree on, but no two people will ever agree on every aspect.

The Great Betrayal
It was a crushing day on so many levels. It started with great expectations of a hope-filled future and ended with a devastating slap in the face. The worst of it was realizing how naïve I really had been. I felt so conned and deceived. I pride myself on being discerning, so it was a devastating revelation.

I’ve Never Been Raided By the FBI, But Donald Trump Has
You know what’s funny about dishonest, shitty human beings? They tend to have brushes with the law. Numerous ones dating back some 50 years. They have had many court cases and legal decisions that have been leveled against them. They’re almost always in the news for not-so-good reasons. One of my least favorite human beings (if you can call him that) of them all had his home in Mar-a-Lago raided today by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Hypocrisies of The Party View
In a world of designated echo chambers, that decide your views based on left or right, sometimes an issue comes along that shows how flawed their thinking is. I used to try to make sense of what I would see in videos or on social media from these types, but I realized that there’s no point in trying to make sense of the senseless. The non-stop finger-pointing and blaming from both sides does amazing things for the leaders of the party. Knowing that at any moment, they can release a story that will spark debate, and the same ones on the same team will have the same views. Every once in a while a heated topic comes up and shows in reality their views hold no weight, and they don’t believe in what they’re saying.
