disorder
The spectrum of Mental Health disorders is incredibly vast; we showcase the multitude of conditions that affect mood, thinking and behavior.
Is It Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), Or Is It Autism?
FASD does not have to happen if all women, with the support of the father, are avoiding alcohol when pregnant or planning to become pregnant. There is no safe time during pregnancy to drink and there is no safe amount to drink during pregnancy. This has been known by experts in this country since around 1973.

I'm Obsessive- Compulsive about the placement of my things.
Have you met someone who does not like a messy house? Or have you met someone who is compulsive about the placement of their things at the right place? And most importantly tidying up the place constantly? It's good to clean your house and stuff but I am vocalizing about constant cleaning and arranging things every day. For others, it might seem perfect but for you, it's not. Have you heard of the term OCD? Probably they have Obsessive Cleaning Disorder.

Social (Anxiety) Butterflies
I have never been a fan of small talk. Even as a child, I wanted to skip right past the hey how are you, how's the weather and jump right into who their favorite dinosaur was and why. I could learn a lot more about a person by their favorite dinosaur anyway, not how cloudy the sky was. Meeting new people was often anxiety causing then, just as it is now. I'd much prefer if people gave me details about a new person I was meeting, and things we might have in common.

Respect in EMS
“Survival of the fittest,” quipped the hard-drinking, burger-devouring, reckless-driving EMT as he stepped over the 18-year-old overdose victim’s body. Back in the ambulance, he imitated the vernacular of the low-income family of the girl we’d tried to save. Then he looked at his watch impatiently. Lunchtime. The girl had died vomiting out of her nose in front of her mother, and the EMT just wanted lunch. “I have no sympathy for addicts,” said the EMT. “They do it to themselves.”

Psychiatric Problems or How We Relate to Mental Disorders
The term "mental health problem" covers a wide range of psychological and psychiatric symptoms and conditions. The name itself is generally avoided by specialists, being considered an additional cause of stigmatization of people suffering from mental disorders.
