Ode
Have You Ever Seen a Motionless Hummingbird?
Pretty soon our hummingbird friends will make their long journey south. I've been thinking of the hummingbird who made herself at home in my garden this summer. This poem is one I wrote about the first time I was able to sit out in the garden and watch her at rest. It is in the form of a collection of minisons, or minimal sonnets, and was published by Kind Over Matter in July.
