Escape the darkness and be transformed
End not with this stagnant picture of thyself
Listen to the heart which beats within your chest
And claw away from things darkening the soul

Let not ye be relegated to the pains of sorrow
Only the one can manage their future image
Commit to changing all that can be
And be mindful of how much pride you still enjoy

None can buy back their actions of yesterday
Come from the bowels of dark despair ye may
Leap unto the traveling lines toward tomorrows glory
And escape the anchors of guilt as they hold you to someone else

Let that true intention be your guide
Carrying you it will, rising from the ashes of the old
Rest upon the wings of a reborn soul
Flying into the burning of the light's loving embrace
---
Be reborn
As you'd rather be
Take flight
And you will know the feeling from within in, as it is love
