You Can't Read This While Taking a Shower
I was at The Glen, Montreal’s new giant super hospital, and a short guy who looked a lot like old Moses of ancient times was strolling by my patient’s door accompanied by a tall, smooth and loud talking sixty-year-old who’d just delivered the rich and selfish line. The smooth and loud talking sixty-year old had an assuring arm around old Moses and wore a hospital robe that revealed much of his backside, as sturdy and well-formed as any I’d seen. I thought the tall, smooth and loud talking sixty-year old could easily have been an NFL quarterback in his younger days.

The Roommate from He**
Moving out and into a new place can be so exciting! But sometimes finding the perfect roomie is a struggle and a half! I looked to Craigslist in hopes there would be someone (normal) who needed a place to stay. Normal is not what I found, though.

First Dates
First dates are the pinnacle of the start of a relationship. They are either a painful shortcut to the end, or the opening to a great beginning. This also means that during the first date there is a lot of stress, anxiety, and awkwardness hanging in the air. A great way of reducing this tension as much as possible is by picking the right place or activity to do for the first date.

Dating: To Cover or Not to Cover? Part 2
So I bet you guys are wondering whether I got a date or not, right? Well, sadly I didn't get a date... I got THREE!! *grins* If you read my first blog you know that I went in with a shield of questions, because I was determined to not only dispell this programming that has ruled my life for so long but to also raise awareness for Vitiligo. I knew that for some of those guys, I was going to be the first person they had ever spoken to who has Vitiligo so, of course, I had to do my part.

Dating: To Cover or Not to Cover?
Men. Boys. Males. The opposite sex. The other species. The toilet seat lifters. Whatever you may call them, they're a pretty vital part of life and I wanted to share some thoughts that ran into my mind the other day. Okay, so I show my Vitiligo now right (waahay!) and it's brilliant I've got my confidence back and I feel really great within myself. It was a mild Tuesday and I was staring at the television whilst daydreaming about Dean Thomas from Harry Potter when it dawned on me that I don't cover my vitiligo anymore. "Oh my god, I don't cover my Vitiligo anymore!" was the exact thought, and if I go on a date then the guy is obviously going to see it. Shortly after I also realised that this would be the first time I would be leading Vitiligo first on a date or when talking to a guy I was interested in.

Black Ice
The snow crunched under Olivia’s feet like ice being ground in a blender, sharp and loud. It was the melody of her Monday in the cold Nebraskan winter. A blizzard passed through just a week prior, painting the world around her in a scene out of a Hallmark snow globe. It was the type of weather that Olivia would rather see than experience. The cold chilled her bones and made her want to hide under the cheap twin bedding she had bought from Walmart. Yet there she was, trudging her way through the snow to get her mail on the other side of campus.

Your Next Door Neighbor Is Cheating! - a 5 Step Program
It's 2 AM again. My roommate has gone to bed already, and all is silent save for the quiet hum of the fan and the occasional snore from his bed. It's been a long night of drawing out chemicals—hexagons and pentagons fill my brain. Maybe it's time to head to bed. I do have class at 9 AM tomorrow.

A Day in the Life of a Fool
Who needs Jacque Cousteau or Stephen Hawking to tell you about a life that has never been explored? Allow me to give you a tour of a typical day in the life of a dweeb/dork/geek/nerd. It's easy. All we have to do is look at my typical and mundane day.
