Let the Feast Begin
The whole kingdom was bustling with excitement. There had been weeks of planning and preparation leading up to this coming night's event. A formal banquet, if you will, to welcome her, their newest member of the kingdom. There would be no stone left unturned. Everything she had imagined in her heart of hearts would come to fruition when the trumpets bellowed at the first guest's arrival. Even the scents of lavender and peaches were being breathed in all around her tonight. And she had butterflies around her, too...kissing her shoulders. The whole night was lit up with fireflies and a full moon. And even they were joyful. It was a Southern girl's dream.

The Story of David
I have spent days thinking about how to tell you the story of David. It's is essentially, MY story. The most influential person I've ever known. He contributed in the construction of who I am at the core. He is the biggest piece of my puzzle. I don't feel that, even with my writer's mind, my words on paper could ever do justice in fully describing...well, any of it but I promise to give it my best effort.

Learning to Duck
Chad Thornton was proud of his name. It wasn’t that he had done anything great...yet. He was proud of his name because he was named after his father, who had served during the Gulf War as an airborne trooper with the 101st Airborne. Also, John Wayne played a Thornton in The Quiet Man. Chad liked that movie.

Café Dexter
There is a place further up the street, but it is cold and wet, and I am tired. My choice of attire today has been found lacking. Mistakes have been made. My waterproof coat is hanging up by the door at home, having been usurped by the far warmer fleece-lined, cord bomber jacket with the fluffy collar.

The Room
The Room: By: Alexander Poe This is the last testament of Henry Hill II: I recently moved to Crystal Lake, Illinois where I discovered something I don't understand and don't know if I care to. I'm writing this with my findings at my feet, should anyone be reading this, then I am dead. Included in the envelope along with this letter, is another letter labeled "read me first." This letter contains the proper instruction on carrying out my wishes.

The Old Lady Who Sips Rose' At The Counter
He saw her before he saw her. He always saw her before he saw her, somehow sensed her presence before he physically saw her, some kind of elder radar, maybe. Great first line for a joke, “An old lady walks into a diner…”

The History of Twin Flames
Twin Flames in today's media We’ve started hearing about Twin Flames more and more since around 2014. Prior to this, they were mostly only ever mentioned amongst spiritual groups, and even then it was rarely touched on. It was understood they were part of the Soul Family and they were discussed as such.

The Missing Rib And Biscuit
This was one of those days when she needed to soothe her craving. After studying and chatting on Facebook, Pease decided to go out. Her mood which is once solemn became alert by people saying familiar hellos. Then, she changed her mind in itself to crossing the street. Sometimes, pubs are on the corner saying tacos, ribs or chicken. She pondered for a moment. Suddenly, shoulders shrugged the extra thoughts away. She’d probably stopby afterwards. For now, Pease felt like making a closer connection. An earthy and evenso personal appeal. Walking on feet is as easy as riding a bike so she travailed far down the road. Pease is searching for a new spot. Alas, another place caught her eye. A new menu is being offered. The deal is a full combo including dessert or coffee. Pease gave in.

Cappuccino, Two Sugars
The cursor blinks at me like a silent alarm. It mocks me. Are you going to write something? I squint at it, hoping it will write a completed chapter- edited and all. It doesn’t. Instead the screen of my old laptop fades to black due to inactivity. I curtly tap the touchpad. The expectant blinker continues its judgement.
