The Fae King. Top Story - March 2026.
It began with a girl. Black-haired and sweet and gone too soon. It is the way of mortals to die, of course. Most pass within a few decades, unless they can be tempted away to fairyland and persuaded to stay there. Even then, mortals live only as long as they can go without visits to friends or family that allow time and the weight of years to catch up to them.

The Perfect Day
Every so often, I'm abruptly reminded of the differences between Neurotypical and Neurodivergent people. At work today, I stuck my head into the back office in an attempt to track down where the Nurse had vanished to, and interrupted a comparisson of what the Psychologist, Exercise Physiologist, and Team Manager's perfect day would look like.

Something is Wrong...
Something was very, very wrong. I could tell. Not anything big or loud, obvious in it's wrongness. That would have been far too noticable. Instead, it was something made wrong by an absense. Something missing or out of place. Something not immediately obvious.

Writing About Writing: The End
A lot of people say that the hardest thing about writing a book (or script, or comic) is starting it. Choosing where to begin, not to mention how the story should start, picking a good opening line to hook the readers, and of course the process of writing an entire story from start to finish. It's a daunting challenge. However, in my opinion there is something even more important: How to end it.

Writing About Writing: The Rainbow Trap. Top Story - February 2026.
The good thing about living in modern times is that LGBTQ representation in media is increasing. Not just in niche and Independant media, either, but also in mainstream media. Books, movies, TV shows, comics... they're finally catching on that LGBTQ+ people form a significant part of their audience, and deserve to see themselves on screen and in fiction, not just as victims in documentaries and true crime shows.

Fires of Adversity
Kathryn, Princess of Thuirene, rose early to enjoy the sunrise in peaceful solitude. As much solitude as a member of the royal family ever got, anyway. She’d have little enough of that in the coming days, that every moment without someone demanding her attention was a gift to be savoured.
