The Courtroom
The judge continues "and after completing your sentence if still alive you will come back to this town and show them how much you have changed, and you must compensate the community somehow when you return. You are now 18 so you unless you really get on someone's nerves you will survive this.

The audience and all present were on pins and needles. The judge is about to state the result. "I find the defendant Guilty on all charges of assault and weckless endangerment of a whole community. You, Morty Sidewinder, will be remanded to the state penitentiary for the next 15 to 20 years plus.....

The Courtroom
The judge has arrived. All may be seated. Will the defendants please rise. They rose from their chairs. This was a very long case during this long hot and humid summer. We were all tired, but we wanted to make sure that justice was brought for the victims of one heinous crime presented.

The courtroom was filled to capacity for this particular case. The audience is excited to see how this case turns out. The prosecutors and defense attorneys along with the defendants are present. Now we are waiting for the judge. It is a day that is hot and steamy and no air. Waiting now....

The Little Cabin/house
The person came out of the little cabin with the book in hand. Went over to the big rocks, and looked really closely at them. Noticed that indeed they were tombstones. Looked at the book and at the stones, and the names in the book matched the ones on these stones. Rest easy.

What can one learn in a classroom? We all learn our letters and numbers and a many other skills as well. One needs to look beyond the basics. Classrooms, as this one can teach many things like how to get along with others in the community, but will it be rote or not?

Little House in the Woods
In reading the old journal that was on the shelf you start to look around. The journal is quite descriptive, and the first page describes the big rocks in the front yard. They are the tombstones of the couple that lived here. They were not young, but not old either. Who were they?

A Little Cabin
What a cute little house. I wonder who lives there. Let's knock on the door. The door creaks open as I knock. All it is, is one room with an old table and some shelves. There's a book on the shelf. I pick it up and begin to read. It's a journal of sorts.
