Monday: 11:58 pmā¦ Wonderfully weightless ā I find myself wafting on the airwaves ā slowly sinking lower ā ever closer to the ground. Iām a feather, floating freely ā to and fro ā until Iām almost brushing the treetops. A few gentle sculling strokes of my arms, effortlessly propel me swiftly skywards. In moments, my supine body is once again above the slumbering world belowā¦ a balmy breeze caresses my upturned face. The dazzling diamonds of The Southern Cross constellation reassuringly smile down at me.

This time I travelled far and wide to various Vocal archaeological sitesā¦Hawaii was my first sun drenched stop! It was actually more akin to wandering through a gold fieldā¦ this nugget was just lying by a creek bed. D.K. Shepardās carefree holiday poem, Island Time, stirred a nostalgic streak in meā¦ Hawaii, here I come! Wishing! š„¹ Her motherās gorgeous photographs perfectly complemented the poemās delightful rhythm and rhyme.

Joe Pattersonās rappinā slamminā poem Jurassic Prison has me actually enjoying dinosaursā¦ a surprising, new experience in my longish life. No, I wasnāt wandering around with the dinosaurs! I narrowly missed them, for which Iām eternally grateful.

Mumās Memorable Meals
Yay! Ginger Mutts! my famished family cheer... Nanaās trusty Ginger Nut recipe with an accidental twist (SR flour instead of Plain). Swooping like ravenous ravens towards the laden, oven tray, we liberate crazily, shaped biscuits from it. Mmm! Crispy crust encases their soft, spicy centres.
