Not like you

not at all

Baa baa black sheep

How are you so cool?

You’ve been sheared up

Teared up, beaten down and used

Maybe everyone else is just confused

But that is

bullshit

and we all

know it

Everyone else went with the flow, but I refused

The river lined with lies

And cover ups

Waves of abuse

No raft or even a lifeline

Just a boat made of “I’m fine”

You’ll forgive in due time

I was drowning, just like you

Saw I had a choice

Just like you

To step on someone else

Just like you

But I would rather drown and die

So I sank to the bottom

Gave my own life

Became last one

Brick wall, that shit stops here

Now I can look back

Without guilt, without fear

What about you?
