My Beautiful Ruination

by ~wren~

By ~wren~Published about 6 hours ago 1 min read

A sage green flame so seductive,

Not even sin itself could intercede.

Your gaze ruins me, so destructive,

My imprisoned organ begins to bleed.

Caged behind your heated eye,

I viciously crave the fire to consume me.

Of my own damnation I offer to die,

I achingly beg and savagely plea.

Your beautiful eyes ruin me beyond salvation,

Sage green globes with speckled bronze stars.

I hungrily succumb to the greedy temptation,

Knowing well, the fool I am, that you carve my scars.
