When one is raised by hypocrisy,

Is it irony to become a hypocrite?

Or is that just the natural progression

The way people grow

How we monkey-see-monkey-do our way through life

Carbon copy bones bleeding ink

. .

See, I like to think

That because I felt the wounding of

Hypocrisy guiding me through life

That I should know and understand

Better than most others

Just how deadly it's nurturing becomes

Wouldn't you think

I'd be the last to be a hypocrite?

But I'm not

Sometimes I fear I'm the worst

. .

. .

Thank you guys for reading, I'm just working through some difficult emotions right now. It will pass soon 💜💜💜

Even the most aware can still fall into the same traps that hurt them.
