Do Angels Walk Amongst Us All

I have wondered this more than once,

not in a loud way,

not in questions spoken out,

but in quiet moments

where something feels different.

Not wings, not light,

not the things people expect,

but something subtle,

something you almost miss

if you are not paying attention.

A stranger who stays longer than needed,

a hand that reaches out

without asking for anything back,

a voice that softens a moment

that could have turned dark.

Are they just people,

or something more,

something passing through

without needing to be seen.

I have met eyes that felt older,

not tired,

but knowing,

like they carried something

they were not here to explain.

And I have felt it,

that shift in a moment,

where everything could have gone wrong,

but did not,

because someone stepped in quietly.

No name remembered,

no story kept,

just a feeling that stayed

long after they were gone.

Do angels walk amongst us,

not in ways we are told,

but in ways we overlook,

in ordinary faces,

in small acts that hold more weight

than we realise.

Maybe they do not need to be known,

maybe that is the point,

to move through quietly,

to leave something better behind

without ever claiming it.

And maybe we pass them daily,

never noticing,

never understanding

what just brushed past us.
