Your Village
A Tale Inspired By A Village Map

Introduction
I saw this and think it is the Village in The Prisoner, which was Portmeirion.
It was on the Wyrd Britain page here:
Your Village
This is not your village. It is a map. It is not your village, though you have been told this is where you will always be.
Why?
Information.
Though you have none.
You once had a name, now they tell you that you are a number.
The village is surrounded by impassable mountains, so the only way out is by sea, but ominously, the graveyard is by the beach. Is there a reason for that?
Do you want to find out?
Roads come into the village, but they do not go out. There is a taxi rank, but the only taxi will only take you elsewhere in the village.
Why is the hospital so far out of the village? What is happening there?
There is a ship that will never sail, and the helicopter landing pad has never been used. There is an old people's home, but that place is very quiet, and may be empty. Do people go there to expire? Who knows?
This is not your village.
But you can never leave.

Omggg, this was so scaryyyy and unsettling. Loved it!
I don’t know if I want to be there or visit. It sounds worrisome.
I’m getting Pleasantville vibes.
I feel like this is chapter one of a choose your own adventure.
