The first mistake is choosing the wrong product.
Many people go for products just because they look cool. But “cool” doesn’t sell. You need something useful. Something people actually need or use daily.
The second mistake is trusting suppliers too quickly.
Not every supplier is bad, but not all of them are good either. Always check reviews, ratings, and history. And never skip the sample. If a supplier refuses to send a sample, that’s a red flag.
The third mistake is ordering large quantities at the beginning.
This is one of the biggest mistakes. You don’t need 500 pieces to start. What if the product doesn’t sell? Start small, test the market, then scale.
The fourth mistake is ignoring shipping details.
Shipping can make or break your business. Some beginners focus only on product price and forget about shipping cost and time. Always ask:
How long will it take?
What is the total cost?
Is there tracking?
The fifth mistake is weak marketing.
